Volunteer Opportunities

Planting sessions: During the planting season, sessions are on  Monday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 12:00.  We meet in the “lath area” adjacent to the employee parking lot just east of Gaiser Conservatory.  Please park on Tekoa.  You may want to bring some garden gloves and maybe some snippers. Volunteer activities involve providing soil for transplanting, transplanting plants into larger pots, grooming plants, moving plants into correct locations, and labeling plants for sale.

Daily Watering:  Volunteers needed for the summer growing season.

Plant sales: Many needs

Calendar Sales: Provide calendars to and collect funds from vendors

Board of Director’s support: For those interested in leadership and organization

Committee Member: Be a decision maker on one of our committees, TFM membership is required to participate.

Each year we honor one of our volunteers who contributes in the most outstanding way.                Click here to see our past volunteers of the year

  1. So much fun to see the plans in the yard growing so fast in the sunshine! Check out the area when walking in Manito park! Or come join the volunteers planting and getting the plants ready for the sale on June 1st.
