To register please email Judy at tfm@thefriendsofmanito.org Investigate some of the unusual properties of water. Partners experiment with water drops on pennies and waxed paper. Students observe and discuss the fascinating effect water has on items like M & M’s. Each class (for students in grades 1 – 8) will begin at 10 AM in the Manito Park Meeting Room just east of Gaiser Conservatory and will last 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Classes are limited to 30 students so…

The Friends of Manito will host an open house on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th from 4:30 to 7:30 PM each night. This is a Spokane tradition and a great kick-off to a week of Gaiser Conservatory holiday lights. There will be cookie decorating for the children, visits with Santa and calendars and poinsettias for sale. We will NOT be serving refreshments this year. This event is free and open to the public.
