How to Divide Perennials presented by Steve Nokes

August 18 @ 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Who knew dividing perennials could be so simple. It becomes apparent that one needs to divide a perennial when there is overcrowding of plants. When plants are overcrowded and have not been divided, they can become stressed. Overcrowding of plants can cause the soil to become drained of its nutrients. Also, Fungi and unwanted pests could invade the plant due to lack of air circulation. Join the Friends of Manito lecture series to learn the correct way to divide perennials by WSU Master Gardener Steven Nokes.  Steve will share WHY to divide plants and HOW to care for them afterwards. This is a class you won’t want to miss!
