20th Year Celebration at Manito Park

Free and Open to the Pubic.

Join The Friends of Manito to mark their 20th Anniversary with a Manito Celebration
Saturday, August 14th
10 am – 2 pm
throughout Manito Park

Visit the crown jewel of Spokane treasures, beautiful Manito Park, for a celebration of the gardens and to honor 20 years of The Friends of Manito’s support and dedication to the improvement and overall enhancement of Manito Park.

Throughout Manito, each of the lovely gardens will be hosting special activities for a fun-filled, family-friendly day. Garden clubs and local experts will be available to provide history and information.

The WSU Master Gardeners will be giving guided tours in each of the gardens: Rose Hill, Joel E. Ferris Perennial Garden, Duncan Gardens and the lovely Japanese Garden.

Additionally, there will be artists painting; activities for the children; and music and refreshments will be available.

The Friends of Manito will be showcasing plants from their upcoming plant sale, and presenting short educational presentations throughout the day.

Every part of Manito Park will be engaged in this celebration. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 456-8038.
