About TFM

The Friends of Manito (TFM) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that enhances the beauty and functionality of Manito Park for present and future generations.  Over 100 volunteers work to produce abundant garden plants to sell that provide the bulk of the fundraising efforts. TFM also offers educational programs and events to further promote the community’s use and enjoyment of Manito Park.

TFM is governed by a set of bylaws which addresses how we are organized and the role of the board of directors.  Another defining document is the agreement between The Friends of Manito and the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department.  This defines the roles of each party and specifies what areas of Manito Park TFM is allowed to use.  Both of these documents are available in the links at the bottom of this page.

We are located behind Gaiser Conservatory, west of the restrooms, on the second floor.
